Leading and Empowering High Performance Teams for Educators

Event: Workshop
Duration: 2 Day Program

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Two essentials for educational institutions today are high performance teambuilding and a set of qualities and behaviors that make them stand apart. Skillfully led and well-organized teams can achieve outstanding results. This program covers the methods and techniques that are essential for success in both these areas.

High Performance Teams have to overcome significant challenges to deliver impressive results in difficult situations. Best business practices have lead to placing radically new high-performance, horizontal organizational model for team success. Additionally, they have learned to think differently about themselves, colleagues, and their organizations. Strategic models of High Performance Teams contribute to significant successful results in areas of leading, making decision, accepting accountability, and confronting issues. The results of such performance lead to becoming great players, on great teams, in great organizations.

TRAINING METHODOLOGY

The program is strategically designed to consistently apply teambuilding activities throughout the course. Each module will engage students through interacting sessions that incorporate all learners and assure transfer of knowledge. It uses a range of approaches of student-centered learning, including experiential group activities, individual exercises, mini-case studies, role-plays and syndicate discussions.

Formal inputs are used to introduce underpinning theory. A key part of the learning process is sharing the differing experiences participants bring, as well as experimenting with novel – and sometimes challenging – techniques. A psychometric instrument will be used to generate a personality profile, which will contribute to your understanding of your preferences and personal style.
